Flexible Structuring of the Plant Identification Course
The course is usually held on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning. It can also be held over two evenings (Wed & Thurs) and then Saturday morning.

This course is designed to take your plant knowledge one step further by equipping you to be able to place different plants into their families. The course will teach you to recognise similar characteristics within those families that will make identification easier.
Who Benefits From This Course
Anyone wanting to improve their plant identification and plant research skills, and to feel more comfortable using the correct botanical names of plants. The course is both fun and mentally stimulating. A must for anyone in the landscaping industry.

The student will feel comfortable with plant identification, plant research and the use of botanical names.
Content
This interactive three-session course will provide the student with the necessary tools to identify plants and carry out effective plant research.
This also assists gardeners to choose plants wisely for their garden or any design project. The relevance of botanical names is explained and different media are examined for effective plant research.
During the course, students will visit a private garden and either an indigenous nursery or a local conservation area to exercise their new-found skills.
